New ambulance vehicle

During the project implementation period, the Special Hospital for Psychiatric Diseases “Dr. Slavoljub Bakalovic” Vrsac acquired a new ambulance vehicle for its own needs and the needs of the project. The vehicle is a new with the EURO 6 standard, modified in accordance with positive regulations and procedures, and it will enable the staff of the institution to provide better quality and safer care during the transport of patients. In addition to state-of-the-art stretchers, the vehicle also has appropriate medical equipment for longer transport of patients, a cardiology chair, as well as lighting and climate-control options designed for higher comfort quality of the patients being transported.

In addition to transporting patients, the vehicle will also be used when visiting rural areas for preventive examinations, which will be held in conjunction with the organization of the “Info Days” foreseen by the project.
